This series of posters was inspired by an article about Smart Cities by Clarence Maender. These are hyper-connected spaces, supposed to provide a new urban performance. As we are facing a continuous intrusion of new technological tools in everyday life, my work compares these environments to an immersive world where humans are drawn and lose control. This cynic promotion plays with the codes of high sensation rides and old SF movies. Projection highlights a hypnotic feeling of dematerialising.

Images were produced using stencil letters and lights on a scanner. Scans were then animated on Premiere Pro.
